OPENING! DOLMEN OF SOTO: A MEGALITHIC LANDSCAPE

New temporary exhibition that can be visited until June 2024 at the Museum of Huelva.

This exhibition has allowed us to enter into the symbolic ideology and the spectacular architectures of one of the oldest megalithic territories in Europe in the Huelva area. Based on these landscapes, the project offers an immersive visit where the scenographic museography gathers the archaeological sample and the historical discourse to introduce the visitor, in an intimate and experiential way, in this incredible archaeological enclave that is the Dolmen de Soto, declared a National Monument, located in the town of Trigueros, Huelva.

The museography takes the visitor into the monument through its corridor of dolmens, leaving behind the light of the equinox, and invites the visitor to discover the history of this enormous prehistoric chamber to learn, through written graphics, images and projections, its structure, its rock art and the history of its discovery.
