The exhibition highlights the importance throughout history of the use of spices. A room full of aromas that transport the visitor to millenary times. The sets are distributed on recycled cardboard tables accompanied by explanatory panels of the same material, demonstrating the commitment between sustainability and design.
The sinuosity of the architecture, the resolution with a single construction material and the sum of interpretation tools such as natural plants, processed spices, places where you can have the intimate experience of the smell with the spice, the colors and images of the origin, its different natural formats, culinary applications, etc., make the museographic support a catalyst for a “total experience” about spices and the ancestral.
The traveling exhibition “Spices: El Universo del Sabor – Espècies, L’univers del gust” was inaugurated at the University Museum of Alicante (MUA) where it could be visited from January 31 to April 7, 2019.
Cardboard, the construction material chosen, gives the exhibition respect for the environment, a “soft” and friendly format, light, sensual, often shapeless, so that the experience of “close your eyes and smell” takes place in a fluid and luminous, comfortable and lively environment.
The Auditori de Teulada Moraira (Alicante) hosted, as a second venue, this exhibition from July 11 to October 28 of the same year.
At this moment he continues his way giving away the experience of spices and their perfumes in different places of the peninsula.
