The Biodiversity Museum of Ibi is hosting from today the exhibition entitled <\/strong><\/p>\n

“Spices. The Universe of Flavor – Esp\u00e8cies. The Universe of Taste”.<\/strong>organized<\/p>\n

by the Carmencita Chair of Gastronomic Flavor Studies of the University of Alicante.<\/p>\n

The exhibition shows how culinary herbs and spices despite their appearance
\ninsignificant, their small size and the low economic value they have today,
\nhave had great power in influencing our history, since in addition to contributing
\ncharacter and personality to our dishes, have served as a bargaining chip,
\nconquest of territories, provoked wars, and transformed our cultures.

\nThe didactic and sensory tour is carried out through six explanatory tables and a
\nvideo showing how to cook with spices in a simple, fast and easy way.

\nThe production of the exhibition demonstrates the Chair’s commitment to the
\nCarmencita of Estudios del Sabor with sustainability, since it is made with
\nmade entirely from recycled cardboard. The exhibition, designed by the Rocamora studio,
\ndesign and architecture, has received the award for “best exhibition set-up”.
