The School of Art and Design of Orihuela (EASDO) held a few days ago ORIGINA 2024, a design conference focused on the theme FUTURE.
This event was established as a creative and reflective space where professionals and students shared experiences through conferences and debates. the day was packed with lectures, debates and workshops, providing a unique opportunity to learn from leading professionals and discuss concerns with alumni who have passed through the School.
Ángel Rocamora participated as a speaker in the conference entitled “Museography: narrative designs”. He also took part in a round table discussion with alumni, exploring their experiences after completing their studies.
In his speech, he addressed the subject of historical and psychological memory, highlighting how it is “genetically” rooted in each of our days, in our society and in our daily imaginary. This perspective becomes a powerful and useful tool for architecture.
A highlight was the presentation of “Alicante Wine: Green Wine Bottle as the axis of design”. In his speech, Ángel Rocamora highlighted: ” The Alicante Wine: Green Wine Bottle as the axis of the design. The result was poetic: the actual bottle served as a support for the history of the wine it contained and gave it a sense of fragility and effective protection”.
Thank you EASDO for counting on the studio for this conference! We hope to have inspired participants to explore new perspectives and creative approaches.
